Job summary

Fisher Investments seeks an Application Development Group Manager to lead the Portfolio Management Data & Reporting Technology team. You will work with users and technology leaders to design roadmaps, guide a team of up to 10, and ensure scalable, secure PM data and client reporting platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in leading Wealth Management Technology teams with focus on Portfolio Management Data and Client Reporting.
• Experience leading and coaching technology teams and improving team's overall performance
• Experience in stakeholder management across business and technology
• Experience eliciting and representing a business group's technology needs through requirements, project management, and software delivery
• Demonstrated experience driving technology innovation, developing and accomplishing technology roadmaps, and delivering measurable improvements
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, from strategy to development, deployment, and support
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms in Microsoft Azure including services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Key Vault
• Experience with API design standards including resource modeling, authentication and authorization and error handling
• Experience with industry standard Wealth Management Client Reporting solutions
• Familiarity with Databricks and medallion architecture is a strong plus
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users, technology leaders, and partners to translate priorities into engineering roadmaps.
• Manage a team of up to 10 employees including hiring, development, and terminations.
• Ensure robust, scalable, secure, and compliant architecture of PM data and client reporting platforms.
• Set and build a strategy for PM Data & Reporting Tech with focus on self-service, speed, and quality.
• Prioritize work by assigning staff and overseeing delivery to meet business needs.
• Lead the implementation of technical solutions and promote SDLC processes.
• Define KPIs for efficient use of the application portfolio.
• Reduce risk by governance and security controls with Enterprise Risk, Legal & Compliance, InfoSec, and related teams.
