Job summary

Cerity Partners is seeking a Practice Development Officer to drive growth and operational excellence across wealth management practices. You will build trusted relationships, design actionable growth plans, and lead strategies for client acquisition, retention, and revenue expansion.

You will collaborate with internal teams on onboarding, performance guidance, and process improvements, while helping practices align with firm policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in wealth management or related role.
• Strong knowledge of investment advisory models and client relationships.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Experience in marketing, client acquisition, and lead generation.
• Understanding of risk, HR policies, and employee relations is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with practices and drive growth.
• Develop and document clear, actionable growth plans with practices.
• Lead client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth strategies within practices.
• Facilitate lead flow by developing strategies to uncover opportunities and optimize processes.
• Provide guidance on P&L, market trends, and new practice investments.
• Support onboarding and training of advisory personnel; guide performance and development.
• Maintain and improve practice reporting and KPIs for client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
