Job summary

CD Financial in San Juan Capistrano, CA is seeking an hands-on Operations Manager to drive efficiency and a positive team culture. You will oversee day-to-day operations, support trading and annuity processing, and coordinate with Marketing to strengthen client engagement.

The role requires 3+ years in operations at a wealth firm and 2+ years in leadership, with strong software and custodial platform knowledge.

Qualifications

• In-depth operations leadership in an RIA/wealth setting.
• Experience building a results-driven culture with accountability.
• Knowledge of ACATs, rollovers, model portfolios, distributions and RMD rules.
• Proficiency with Schwab Advisor Center or similar custodians.
• Experience with fixed or fixed index annuity processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operations team, set and report KPIs, coach staff.
• Oversee custodian operations and account paperwork through completion.
• Back up trading, IRA processing, and annuity administration.
• Maintain CRM/workflow tools, processes, and compliance docs.
• Support Marketing with social media and client communications.
