Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Merrill Onboarding and Maintenance professional to support the creation and upkeep of brokerage accounts. You will process account requests, validate documents for good order, and coordinate with partners to ensure timely updates.

The role requires handling a high-volume caseload, meeting 48-hour turnarounds, and communicating effectively with internal teams. This position may require onsite work under workplace policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Merrill Wealth Management brokerage accounts in service or operations.
• Experience managing a high-volume personal caseload, prioritizing work to meet 48-hour turnaround times.
• Ability to apply judgment within guidelines to resolve routine exceptions and escalate when needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication for internal partners via phone and email.
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and maintain accounts, review documentation for good order, update records.
• Review and approve account documentation, obtain legal review or approved exceptions as needed.
• Conduct moderate research and resolve routine inquiries.
• Identify risks and opportunities for process improvement; run control reports and document evidence.
• Respond to client inquiries across channels with status updates and timely resolutions.
• Understand end-to-end process flow and upstream/downstream impacts.
