Commerce Bank is seeking a Supervisor, Accounting - Wealth Operations in Kansas City to oversee cash movement activities and high‑net‑worth client support. The role focuses on accurate processing, risk mitigation, and cross‑functional coordination.

You’ll manage end‑of‑day balancing, publish cash reports, and liaise with internal partners while guiding a team and ensuring timely, compliant outcomes. A strong background in accounting and wealth operations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Management or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 3+ years accounting experience required.
• 3+ years wealth operations experience preferred.
• 1+ years leadership experience required.
• Experience in Management Reporting required.
• Hybrid Schedule: In office 3 days per week (training will require up to 5 days per week in office for up to 8 weeks, depending on progress and business need).
• Level of role is determined by knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash movement activities including wires, ACH transactions, check processing, OFAC reviews, G/L postings, and DDA uploads.
• Oversee daily end-of-day balancing routines and publish daily projected cash reports.
• Coordinate cash movement for high-net-worth clients and guide internal partners.
• Compile and submit operational data for management reports and risk assessments.
• Mitigate risk by ensuring accurate processing and compliant reporting.
• Oversee department workflow and communicate decisions to the team.
• Provide guidance, coach and develop training plans for staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
