Job summary

Truist is seeking a Wealth Brokerage Onboarding and Transition Manager to lead onsite onboarding events for newly recruited Financial Advisors or teams. You will report to the Wealth Onboarding Manager and build a team of specialists to support the transition.

The role focuses on coordinating activities, ensuring regulatory and process compliance, and driving successful onboarding within a typical three‑month window across Truist footprints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
• Five years of broker/dealer or financial services industry experience with understanding of retail brokerage products, services, operations and systems.
• FINRA SIE, 7, 66, 24 examinations (or ability to acquire within 120 days).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; knowledge of brokerage systems is a plus.
• Ability to travel extensively (1–7 weeks at a time, including weekends).

Responsibilities

• Manage operational aspects of transitioning the business during onboarding events. Coordinate activities of key individuals within the organization.
• Serve as the Project Manager during onboarding events and handle troubleshooting and action items, possibly coordinating with outside firms.
• Ensure onboarding activities comply with industry protocols and minimize litigation risk from prior firms.
• Develop and supervise Wealth Brokerage Onboarding and Transition Specialists and home office staff.
• Track asset acquisition, client documentation, and adjust transition strategies over a typical 3‑month period.
• Coordinate recruiting visits to the home office for prospective Financial Advisors and craft itineraries to maximize commitments.
• Develop and document all onboarding processes and training materials for Advisors and Client Service Associates.
• Maintain living documents for onboarding events and recruit visits; provide onsite support during transitions (1–7 weeks, including nights/weekends).
• Deliver ad hoc trainings for systems and procedures as needed.
