Job summary

Truist seeks a Wealth Brokerage Onboarding and Transition Manager to lead on-site onboarding events for newly recruited Financial Advisors or teams. You will coordinate cross-functional efforts, develop training materials, manage timelines (typical 3 months) and mentor onboarding specialists to ensure smooth transitions and maximal profitability for the firm.

Travel up to 1–7 weeks at a time is expected, including nights and weekends, with emphasis on risk management and compliance to protect

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
• Five years of broker/dealer or financial services experience.
• FINRA SIE, 7, 66, 24 exams (or ability to acquire within 120 days).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; brokerage systems knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational aspects of transitioning the business during onboarding events.
• Serve as Project Manager for onboarding events and troubleshoot actions.
• Ensure onboarding activities comply with industry protocols and minimize litigation risk.
• Develop Wealth Brokerage Onboarding and Transition Specialists and home office staff.
• Track asset acquisition, client documentation and adjust strategies during transition (approx. 3 months).
• Coordinate recruiting visits to the home office for prospective Financial Advisors.
• Document and maintain operational onboarding processes and training materials.
• Maintain living documents for onboarding events and recruit visits.
• Provide onsite support during transitions (1–7 weeks, including nights/weekends).
• Deliver ad hoc trainings for systems and procedures as needed.
