Job summary

Morgan Stanley in the United States seeks a Market Manager to drive revenue, profit, and risk management within the branch network. You will recruit and retain Financial Advisors, build cohesive teams, and lead with integrity while reporting to the Market Executive.

You will oversee sales, marketing, and regional initiatives, mentor advisors, and ensure compliance with federal and state laws. The role emphasizes leadership, ethics, and strong client service across branches.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience and/or training including demonstrated success managing a substantial branch office or equivalent.
• Active Series 7, 8 (or 9 and 10), 66 (or 63 and 65) and 3 registrations (Series 31 acceptable if branch conducts managed futures business only)
• Other licenses as required for role or by management

Responsibilities

• Understand and drive sales by leveraging Firm products and partner resources.
• Direct sales force to resources to improve efficiency of the sales process.
• Use product knowledge to support recruiting and explain Morgan Stanley offerings to recruits.
• Grow business by building relationships with corporate departments and strategic partners.
• Lead and develop teams, ensuring regular meetings and clear communication.
• Hire, recruit, and train to expand branch presence in the market.
• Coach and mentor Financial Advisors to improve performance and results.
• Ensure branch and market compliance with regulatory requirements and supervisory procedures.
