Job summary

Cerity Partners is offering a paid 2027 Summer Internship to gain real-world wealth management experience. You will shadow Financial Advisors, use CRM and planning software, and support research and client deliverables.

Ideal candidates are undergraduates with a 3.2+ GPA, majoring in Financial Planning/Finance/Accounting or related business field, and proficient in Microsoft Office, with active campus involvement.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in an undergraduate program with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
• Majoring in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or related business degree.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Active participating in campus organizations, preferably in a leadership role, and/or professional work experience.
• Identify with Cerity Partners’ mission and demonstrate our core values.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and participate in various types of client presentations.
• Utilize CRM and financial planning software systems.
• Opportunity to obtain e-Money Certification.
• Shadow and assist Financial Advisors with preparation of financial documents and performance reports.
• Perform research on stocks, bonds, and other securities using Bloomberg, YCharts, HiddenLevers, Riskalyze, etc.
• Utilize back-end portfolio management software to assist in organization of account linkups and portfolio maintenance.
• Participate in Investment Committee meetings and portfolio subcommittees.
