Job summary

Cerity Partners is seeking a summer internship for students to gain real world experience with a collaborative team that values people and accountability. This paid internship runs 30-40 hours per week and offers hands-on exposure to wealth management.

You will shadow financial advisors, use CRM and planning software, aim for e-Money Certification, participate in data gathering and plan development, and support discretionary portfolios.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student enrolled at an accredited university.
• Major in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or related business degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and basic CRM usage.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and participate in client presentations.
• Utilize CRM and financial planning software.
• Assist Financial Advisors with documents and reports.
• Support the full financial planning process from discovery to reviews.
• Participate in portfolio design and maintenance.
• Learn basic income tax planning strategies.
• Conduct independent research and build financial models.
• Collaborate with team virtually on projects.
