Job summary

Cerit y Partners in California is offering a paid summer internship in Wealth Management for 2027. The program runs 30-40 hours per week and provides real-world exposure to the financial industry within a nationally recognized registered investment adviser.

You will shadow advisors, use CRM and planning software, and have opportunities to obtain e-Money Certification while collaborating with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
• Majoring in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or related business degree
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Actively participating in campus organizations, preferably with a leadership role
• Identify with Cerity Partner’s mission and demonstrate our core values

Responsibilities

• Shadow and participate in client presentations
• Utilize CRM and financial planning software systems
• Assist with financial documents and performance reports
• Research stocks, bonds, and other securities using investment software
• Support portfolio maintenance and backtesting activities
• Participate in Investment Committee meetings
• Collaborate with tax professionals on tax planning
• Work with a team virtually on financial planning projects
