Job summary

KeyBank in Goshen, IN is offering a structured internship with hands-on exposure to wealth management. You will work with a Private Client Advisor on client discovery, data entry, and basic financial planning tasks while developing relationships and communication skills.

The role emphasizes CFP coursework, data analysis, and involvement in client events and learning labs as part of a Capstone project. Transportation and in-office presence are supported as described.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year or graduate-level degree by May 2029 with coursework in finance, accounting, economics, and/or data science.
• Participation in CFP program and CFP exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a KIS Private Client Advisor to gain hands-on experience.
• Participate in client discovery and financial planning activities including data entry and analysis.
• Observe client meetings and assist with basic administrative tasks.
• Develop client relationships and interpersonal communication skills.
• Digitize client files and verify client email information.
• Manage Salesforce book and assist in planning client events.
• Engage in Key Corp Enterprise learning labs and networking events.
• Collaborate on a Capstone Group Project addressing real-world industry topics.
• Perform other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities, and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
• Comply with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key.
