Job summary

Bank of America seeks candidates for the Advisor Development Program: Financial Advisor, focusing on high-net-worth client needs, relationship building, and comprehensive investment guidance. You will collaborate with Merrill Financial Advisor Teams to promote portfolio growth and deliver end-to-end financial recommendations.

Requirements include Series 7 and 66 licenses, investment knowledge, and exceptional interpersonal skills; a Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses.
• Minimum of one year experience in financial services or sales where goals were met or exceeded.
• Minimum of one year experience in investments, including investment training and knowledge of products/services.
• Proven ability to engage with and influence others.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication; able to build trust quickly.
• Proven ability to assess needs and recommend solutions/interventions.
• Able to work collaboratively with a team and key partners.
• Strong listening and clarity-seeking skills.
• Goal and results oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to source clients via prospecting/networking.
• Compensation is performance-based; strong follow-through.
• Technical literacy with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handles inbound inquiries from leads regarding Merrill offerings.
• Collects client profile data following KYC procedures to open accounts.
• Serves as interim Financial Advisor, recommending suitable investment products/services.
• Documents all client interactions and opportunities in Salesforce.
