Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Senior Audit Manager for the Private Wealth Audit team in New York. You will lead complex audits, develop risk-based plans, and build strong relationships with management to strengthen controls. Travel up to 15% may be required. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. and will be evaluated for CFA/CFIRS assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 10+ years of progressive audit experience in banking/wealth management.
• Strong knowledge of wealth management risks, controls, and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex audits within the Private Wealth Management portfolio.
• Develop and execute risk-based audit plans.
• Oversee engagements, manage budgets, scope, and timelines.
• Provide strategic insights and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Coach and develop audit professionals and build strong partnerships with management.
