Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Technology Lead for Wealth Investments Supervisory to drive integration, design risk and compliance checks, and lead multi-disciplinary teams.

You will shape platform architecture, own end-to-end delivery, and collaborate with business, product, operations, and testing teams. The role requires deep Java expertise, strong data, messaging, and observability skills, and a focus on resilience, security, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience
• Java (8–21) with Spring Boot, concurrency, JVM tuning, REST/gRPC API design
• Python for scripting, automation, and tooling
• Strong relational DBs (Oracle, SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch)
• Kafka experience with topics, consumer groups, DLQs
• TLS/mTLS, HTTP/2, load balancing, service mesh, API gateways
• Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry
• Circuit breakers, retries, bulkheads, chaos engineering
• COB/DR, RTO/RPO, disaster recovery, regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership and guidance to development teams, enforcing standards
• Lead architectural design and evolution of fund platforms for scalability
• Domain expertise in rules engines, client suitability, and risk evaluation
• AI tools integration to enhance platform capabilities
• Asset tokenization initiatives and understanding blockchain tech
• Oversee full SDLC from requirements to deployment and support
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements
• Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous learning
• Stay updated on fintech, AI, and blockchain trends
