Job summary

State Bank seeks an Investment Advisor to deliver brokerage and investment services to clients in a compliant, client-focused manner. You’ll identify financial needs, recommend suitable products, and execute orders while maintaining strong client relationships across the bank’s footprint.

You will manage referrals, stay current on FINRA/SEC regulations, and pursue licenses as required. Travel within the bank’s footprint is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred; State Insurance/Health License; Series 6, 63 and 7 licenses (or ability to obtain and maintain).
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a brokerage, financial services, banking, or related advisory role preferred
• Strong knowledge of brokerage, investment, insurance, and trust products

Responsibilities

• Provide brokerage and investment services to clients while identifying financial needs and recommending suitable products.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to support investment and service objectives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies in all transactions.
