Job summary

Bank of Montreal (BMO) seeks a Retail Banking Sales & Service professional in Des Moines to act as the primary client contact, uncover financial needs, and deliver holistic banking and investment solutions in compliance with regulatory policies.

You will collaborate with BMO partners and community influencers to build relationships, grow assets under management, and increase investment penetration, while guiding clients through digital platforms and advisory options.

Qualifications

• Typically, 3+ years of relevant experience
• Post-secondary degree in related field preferred, not required
• Licenses: SIE and State Life/Health insurance; Series 6/63/65 OR 7/66; if not held, must be obtained within 120 days of start date
• In-depth knowledge of brokerage, insurance products, and personal trust/investment management

Responsibilities

• Uncover financial needs and provide holistic banking and investment solutions
• Develop recommendations using a financial planning approach
• Grow assets under management and investment penetration
• Prospect new clients and deepen relationships within portfolio
• Guide clients to digital platforms and promote platform adoption
• Collaborate with Financial Advisor for complex needs
• Maintain compliance with policy and risk management standards
