Job Summary
- Act as the Wealth Banker to UHNW and HNW clients, providing bespoke Wealth services.
- Responsible for identifying and developing client relationships with ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth residents in Mauritius.
- Lead new client acquisition and retention, with extensive knowledge of Wealth Banking products across banking and non-banking sectors in multi-currency environments.
- Demonstrate proven sales, networking, origination, and business development skills to increase market share domestically.
- Maintain outstanding relationships with intermediaries such as management companies, real estate agents, asset management firms, legal firms, promoters, and government agencies.
Job Description
- Manage client portfolios focused on ultra/high-net-worth individuals in Mauritius, including individual accounts and SPVs.
- Develop and maintain existing relationships while identifying new business opportunities aligned with client needs.
- Develop and implement banking strategies with full revenue and balance sheet responsibility, suitable for senior banking leadership roles.
- Build new relationships through referrals, intermediaries, and internal networks.
- Originate new clients through lending, transactional banking, savings, and investments.
- Provide high-quality service to existing clients across all channels.
- Ensure compliance with global and market standards, including regulatory requirements like KYC, TCF, and fiduciary standards.
- Prepare credit applications and loan agreements, and address client queries.
- Foster collaboration and teamwork across departments.
- Act as a role model and trusted advisor, demonstrating leadership and governance.
- Support and develop team members, sharing best practices and encouraging continuous learning.
- Proactively pursue personal development and relevant training.
- Assist in driving Wealth and Banking initiatives.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies, along with professional qualifications.
