Job summary

Waverly Advisors is seeking a Business Development Officer to drive growth by partnering with advisors across multiple offices. You will own the front end of the business development process, prospecting, nurturing referrals, and guiding prospects through discovery and proposals.

The role requires a proven sales track record in wealth management, strong communication, and the ability to travel to support regional teams. This is a full-time position with compensation commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field.
• 5+ years in sales, business development, or relationship management in financial services or private banking.
• Knowledge of financial advisory practices, client acquisition, and referral growth.
• Proven ability to build trust, manage relationships and influence decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective clients through targeted outreach and campaigns.
• Qualify leads and match prospects with suitable advisors by need, location and specialty.
• Assist advisors with proposal prep, materials, and pipeline coaching through the journey.
• Help implement systems to track and optimize advisor pipelines.
