Job summary

Waverly Advisors, LLC in Atlanta seeks a Business Development Officer to lead front-end growth across multiple offices. You will identify prospective clients, qualify leads, and support advisors through discovery and proposal stages, aligning outreach with strategic campaigns.

You'll nurture referral networks, coordinate client events with Marketing, manage pipeline data in the CRM, and report KPIs. Travel to support regional teams is expected as we expand our wealth advisory services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field.
• 5+ years in sales/business development within financial services, asset management, or private banking.
• Knowledge of financial advisory practices and client growth.
• Proven ability to build trust and influence decision-makers.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Prospect potential clients and qualify leads with advisors.
• Support proposal preparation and materials for discovery meetings.
• Manage referral relationships with custodians, CPAs, attorneys.
• Plan and execute client referral and networking events.
• Maintain pipeline activity in the CRM and report KPIs.
