Job summary

Washington Trust Wealth Management is seeking a client-focused and relationship-driven Wealth Advisor to provide comprehensive advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and families. This role centers on helping clients achieve their financial goals through holistic advice, thoughtful planning, and ongoing guidance.

The good-faith, reasonable base salary range for this role is $125,000–$175,000. Actual compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and

Qualifications

  • CFP designation and/or CTFA credential required (or in progress with a defined timeline to completion)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning, wealth advisory, trust services, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning disciplines, including retirement, estate, tax, and fiduciary strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain client relationships
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service and putting clients’ best interests first

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with clients by delivering personalized, goals-based financial advice
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, including retirement, estate, tax, insurance, and wealth transfer strategies
  • Conduct regular client reviews and proactively adjust plans based on life events, market changes, and evolving goals
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing ongoing counsel and education
  • Partner with internal specialists (trust, tax, investment, planning and estate professionals) to deliver integrated wealth solutions
  • Work collaboratively with Wealth Administrators and Associates to ensure client service standards are met
  • Guide clients through complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence
  • Maintain data on clients in system of record and CRM.

Compensation

The good-faith, reasonable base salary range for this role is $125,000–$175,000. Actual compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and education. This role may be eligible for an annual bonus and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
