Please review the following job description:

Serve as the primary relationship advisor for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. Responsible for developing and deepening client relationships through needs-based, high-level client service, and delivering the full suite of Truist Wealth solutions.

Accomplished in acquiring new clients by leveraging external networks and community presence to provide comprehensive wealth management advice and solutions. Utilize sound financial planning and advisory concepts to deliver a broad range of wealth products and services to high net worth individuals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Meet revenue growth, profitability, and client retention goals by acquiring new clients and expanding services.
  • Self-acquire new business through active community engagement.
  • Handle complex, sensitive banking relationships as a market-leading advisor.
  • Develop relationships with external referral sources and collaborate with specialists and partners across credit, mortgage, planning, investment, trust, and insurance services.
  • Use advanced credit knowledge to lead conversations and advice delivery.
  • Partner with product specialists to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Work within a team to deliver comprehensive wealth solutions.
  • Model leadership for other advisors and associates.
  • Promote Truist’s culture and values.
  • Build relationships with internal and external centers of influence to support marketing and business development.
  • Stay informed on economic, legal, and market trends impacting clients.
  • Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Manage expenses and operational efficiency with sound judgment.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proper licenses including Series 7, 66, SIE, and applicable insurance licenses; maintain ongoing education.
  • 8+ years in wealth management sales and client management for high net worth clients.
  • Proven success in high net worth marketplace relationships and sales.
  • Advanced credit knowledge and experience with complex deals.
  • Knowledge of deposit, credit, and investment products.
  • Experience in goal-driven sales environments using tools like pipelines and reporting.
  • Team-oriented with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's in Business, Finance, or Economics.
  • CFP, CTFA, CFA, CPA, JD, or MBA preferred.
  • Enrollment in certification programs like CFA, CFP, CPWA, CPA.
  • 5+ years in wealth management sales managing high net worth portfolios.
  • Leadership or management program graduate.
