Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Supervise claims staff in their daily operations.
- Support Claims Manager in staff recruitment, interviews, and training on procedures and functions.
- Ensure staff compliance with Workers’ Compensation laws and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Maintain team performance through training, coaching, and performance evaluations, recommending merit activities with managerial approval.
- Provide technical guidance on complex claims issues and jurisdictional matters.
- Act as liaison, resolving client and employee requests regarding claims and procedures.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Maintain regular attendance and comply with safety rules.
- Undertake additional projects and duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills

- Knowledge of claims administration and cost containment in Workers’ Compensation.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated public speaking skills.
- At least 5 years of claims handling experience.
- Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation required.
- Current license or certification in Workers’ Compensation.
- Self-Insured Certificate preferred.
- State Certification as an experienced Examiner.
Pay Range
Range: $68,696 – $114,313, based on location, experience, and qualifications. Eligible for a bonus program.
