Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is hiring an Operator for the Y Shift (5PM–5AM, Fri–Sun) to operate machinery, follow work instructions, and maintain quality standards. The role emphasizes safety, data logging, and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 0–1 year of machine operation experience, and basic math, mechanical, and computer skills. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and 6S standards to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Identify and escalate potential safety risks on the floor.
• Operate equipment, independently or in a team environment, per the work instructions.
• Utilize electronic devices daily to reference work instructions, control plans, visual criteria and accurately log production numbers.
• Perform repetitive tasks as needed and maintain production pace and quality standards as specified by the applicable documentation to meet process metrics such as delivery, efficiency, and quality.
• Recognize and react to problems with equipment, elevate as required.
• Close attention to detail concerning product quality through utilizing visual criteria and upscale issues to appropriate personnel.
• Use fixtures, jigs, and hand tools as necessary to ensure proper position and/or movement of components and parts.
• Work with Machine Set Up Technician to resolve problems with equipment.
• Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation.
• Conduct Autonomous Maintenance tasks as prescribed.
• Place processed parts into containers and palletize per the work instruction and at specified quantities per the part tag.
• Other duties and projects as determined by business and production needs.
