Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is hiring a Machine Operator for A Shift (5am-3pm, Mon-Thu) to support production with a variety of equipment and cross-functional collaboration. The role focuses on safety, quality, and meeting production targets in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic math and mechanical skills, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and 6S standards to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Operate equipment, independently or in a team, per work instructions.
• Utilize electronic devices to reference work instructions, control plans and log production numbers.
• Meet process metrics such as delivery, efficiency and quality as specified by documentation.
• Identify and escalate equipment problems and safety risks as needed.
• Work with Machine Set Up Technician to resolve issues and participate in autonomous maintenance.
• Place processed parts into containers and palletize per the work instruction.
• Other duties as determined by production needs.

Your Role on Our Team

The Operatorsupportsproduction byoperatinga variety of equipment to produce qualityproductper provided criteria and work instructions. This position isrequiredto cooperate with other cross functional departments to ensure andmaintainpart quality, proper procedure execution, a safe and productive work environment, and culture standards.

Currently hiring for A Shift: 5am-3pm Monday - Thursday

You'llbe DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

• Follow all safety policies and practice 6S standards tomaintaina safe and clean working environment for all employees.
• Identifyand escape potential safety risks on the floor.
• Operate equipment, independently or in a team environment, per the work instructions.
• Utilize electronic devices daily to reference work instructions, control plans, visual criteria and accurately log production numbers.
• Perform repetitive tasks asneeded andmaintainproduction pace and quality standards as specified by the applicable documentation to meetprocess metrics such as delivery, efficiency, and quality.
• Recognize and react to problems with equipment, escalated asrequired.
• Close attention to detail concerning product quality throughutilizingvisual criteria and escalated issues toappropriate personnel.
• Use fixtures, jigs, and hand tools as necessary to ensure proper position and/or movement of components and parts.
• Work with Machine Set Up Technician to resolve problems with equipment.
• Clean equipment asrequiredto ensure proper operation.
• Conduct Autonomous Maintenance tasks as prescribed.
• Place processed parts into containers and palletize per the work instruction and at specified quantities per the part tag.
• Other duties and projects asdeterminedby business and production needs.
