Job summary

Walser Automotive Group in Minnesota is seeking a Parts Clerk to check in, pull, and stock parts, look up catalog items, create quotes or invoices, and process special orders. You will support technicians and customers with accurate parts information and timely deliveries.

You will also perform cycle counts, assist the manager with damage/shortage claims, and help with wholesale deliveries. Walser offers PTO, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive retail/wholesale parts is helpful.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to stay organized and detail-oriented.
• Team player able to work independently as needed.

Responsibilities

• Check in orders, pull orders, and stock parts.
• Look up parts in catalog, create quotes or invoices.
• Process special order requests and supplier coordination.
• Monitor backorders and upgrade parts when suitable.
• Communicate effectively with customers and technicians.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with claims and deliveries.

Compensation: $16.00 - $28.00 hourly.

Schedule for FT role: M,T,W,F 9:30am-6pm Saturday 8am-3pm

Schedule for PT role: M-F 8am-1pm

What You'll Do:

• Check in orders, pull orders, and put stock orders away
• Look up parts in catalog, create quotes or invoices as needed
• Create special order requests for parts not in stock and/or acquire in town if possible
• Monitor special orders, upgrade parts if backorder
• Keep good communication with customers, both internal and external
• Actively do cycle counts on the inventory
• Assist the manager with damage/shortage claims with the manufacturer
• Deliver parts to the Technicians
• Set up parts deliveries for wholesale customers
• Assist all customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
• Scrap warranty and/or obsolete parts

What You Bring:

• Prior automotive retail/wholesale parts and/or Tekion experience is helpful
• Ability to sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, lower, push, leverage, carry, and manipulate packages occasionally weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent customer service; organizational and communication skills
• Must be able to work well as a member of a team and alone
• Strong attention to detail
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
