Job summary

Walser Automotive Group in Minnesota is seeking a service operations professional to support the warranty team, ensure claim approvals, and maintain compliance on repair orders.

You will coordinate rentals, liaise with technicians, and help deliver an exceptional customer experience while upholding Walser's core values.

Requires at least 2 years in an automotive dealership, high attention to detail, and strong communication; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of automotive dealership experience or equivalent.
• High level of urgency and accuracy in work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist service team with warranty knowledge and information.
• Contact extended warranty companies for claim approvals.
• Verify RO information and attach all repair documentation.
• Ensure accurate technician repair documentation (3 Cs).
• Coordinate rental process and daily updates on rentals.
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver the best customer experience.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries of internal vehicles.

What You'll Do

• Assist the service team with leadership in warranty knowledge and information
• Aid in contacting extended warranty companies for claim approval
• Check vehicle and Repair Order (RO) information compliance
• Ensure all supporting documentation for repairs are attached to repair orders
• Confirm accurate technician repair documentation (3 C's)…cause, concern and correction
• Book tickets after customer has left and ensure payment has been received
• Work with teammates to ensure customers receive the best possible experience
• Ensure rental process is followed and completed, including cleanliness of rentals upon return, daily updates on days rented, processing damage claims, etc.
• Write-up and Close Pre-Delivery vehicles
• Coordinate pick up and delivery on all internal vehicles
• Updating Used Vehicle Team on internal repair orders
• Must wear safety eyewear at all times when in dealership service departments
• Must wear hard-toed shoes and slip resistant footwear in when in dealership service departments
• All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

What You Bring

• 2 years of experience in an automotive dealership
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Past experience working with a high level of urgency
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Experience interacting with customer and providing a positive experience
• High level of detail orientation and accuracy
• Beginner to intermediate level of technical proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office (outlook, excel, word), preference may be given to intermediate level skills
• Proven experience working within a team environment
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
