Job summary

Ballast Wax, a multi-unit EWC franchisee, seeks a Wax Specialist for our Sacramento Land Park center. You will perform professional waxing in a private suite, deliver guest-focused service, and grow a loyal book of business within a nationally recognized brand.

You must hold an active Esthetician or Cosmetologist license in the state. Full-time and part-time schedules are available; evenings and weekends may be required. Ongoing training and strong earning potential are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Esthetician or Cosmetologist license in the applying state (required).
• Ability to build guest relationships, remember names and skin details, and communicate confidently.
• Strong sanitation standards and guest-ready suite upkeep.
• Willingness to learn and grow; training provided.
• Evenings and weekends availability; full-time and part-time schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional waxing services in private suites following brand protocols and licensing requirements.
• Greet guests with warmth and professionalism and educate on post-wax care.
• Build lasting guest relationships to encourage repeat visits and referrals.
• Support product sales, rebooking, and center-wide performance goals.
