Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical school completion required.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect wax patterns for surface finish, smoothness, feature blending, flash, non-fills, air bubbles, core pulls, holes and cracks.
• Check ceramics and solubles for quality standards.
• Perform dimensional checks using micrometers, vernier calipers and scales.
• Perform periodic wax checks directly at the wax injection presses during waxing operations.
• Report defective materials, equipment malfunctions and unusual conditions to supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and equipment.
• Willingness to cross-train and assist in other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties of equal or lesser complexity as assigned.
