Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Wax Pattern Inspector/Quality Technician to work under limited supervision, inspecting wax patterns and soluble cores for conformance to specifications.

You will perform dimensional checks with micrometers and calipers, repair patterns, reject those requiring rework, and maintain inspection records. The role includes a 2:30 PM–11:00 PM schedule, pay from $15.50 to $23.25 per hour, and incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, count, comply with instructions and routines.
• Follows written/verbal instructions and may work from sketches.
• Interprets calipers, micrometers, Federal gauges and fixtures.
• 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect wax patterns and soluble cores for surface finish and features.
• Perform dimensional checks using precision measuring instruments.
• Repair and rework patterns; reject nonconforming parts with reason.
• Maintain inspection records and follow safety regulations.
• Demonstrate ability to repair, rework and rebuild wax patterns to specifications.
