Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a wax pattern and soluble core inspector for the second shift in Groton, CT. You will visually inspect surfaces, perform dimensional checks, and document results with precision gauges to ensure conformance to specifications.

You will repair/rework as needed, maintain records, and follow safety regulations while aiming to exceed production and quality standards. Requires the ability to read gauges, operate micrometers and calipers, and work under limited supervision

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, count and follow instructions.
• 1 year experience in inspection or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect wax patterns and soluble cores for surface finish and defects.
• Perform dimensional checks using precision instruments and record results.
• Repair and rework patterns or cores and document rejection reasons.
• Report defects, maintain a clean work area and follow safety rules.
• Demonstrate ability to meet production and quality standards.
