Job Description

Position Overview: Responsible for visual inspection of wax patterns, dressing defects, and performing related tasks in pattern manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Visually inspect wax patterns to ensure they meet customer specifications.
• Dress defects using hot torches and hot plates; trim flash; repair air bubbles; label patterns; assemble parts; apply sealant; maintain a clean work area.
• Accurately report daily production quantities.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Work is performed at a bench where sitting or standing is optional. Requires attention to detail, steady hands, and good visual acuity.
• Constant use of upper extremities for inspection, dressing, repairing, labeling, and sealing wax patterns. Frequent use of hand tools; reaching and handling activities at waist, knee, shoulder, and overhead levels.
• Push/lift 10-35 lbs.
