Job summary

Roper Thermals is seeking an entry level Plant Operator to join our manufacturing team on first shift (8am-4pm). You will assist in plant operations, quality control, and daily production tasks within our wax manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate is physically capable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable using standard plant tools. Training provided; opportunity for growth in a hands-on manufacturing role. Commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in plant operations or related fields a plus.
• Familiarity with plant tools and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform plant operations and activities
• Package finished products and prepare for shipping
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the plant
• Log and record readings for equipment and procedures
