Job summary

You will read and follow technique cards, select assembly methods, and perform assembly with torches, hot pencils, and a variety of hand tools, while maintaining quality and communicating effectively with the team in a demanding production environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply pattern assembly techniques and fixturing.
• Experience assembling wax patterns or pattern finishing preferred.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Ability to read and follow complex instructions.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lb, up to 125 lb with assistance.
• Work in conditions with noise, fumes, awkward positions, abrasions, chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pattern components and fixtures before assembly.
• Read technique cards and plan assembly methods.
• Assemble complex multi-component patterns with torches, hot pencils, and hand tools.
• Maintain dimensional integrity using fixtures and verify results.
• Possibly develop modification data sheets for engineering changes.
• Inspect assemblies during and after to detect defects.
