Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of production wax assembly experience preferred.
• Two years of Mold Machine Operator B or A experience.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Thorough knowledge of assembly techniques, methods, materials, fixturing and construction.
• Ability to follow and communicate complex written and verbal instructions, and to perform arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to lift and/or maneuver objects weighing thirty to fifty pounds.
• Ability to work in conditions with noise, fumes, crowding, awkward positions, abrasions, cuts, and chemicals.
• Skill in wax injection molding operations, demonstrated by 3–6 months of competence in related positions.

Responsibilities

• Assembles complex wax patterns and gating components with fixtures to maintain dimensional control.
• Inspects assemblies during and after process for defects and quality.
• Sets up, monitors, and controls mold machine functions; keeps dies clean.
• Removes wax parts from die, inspects for defects, and trims.
