Precision Castparts Corp. seeks a production-support team member to audit wax gating and wax weld components, maintain inventory, and assist with molding and pattern assembly operations in a rigorous manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with the Production Scheduler Lead, and adherence to safety rules while handling fixtures, carts, and component kits to optimize workflow.

Qualifications

• At least two year of experience in wax molding, cleaning or assembly and considerable working knowledge of product quality requirements and product structures.
• Ability to communicate effectively and to work with others within and outside the department.
• Ability to interpret instructions and perform arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to attend to details and good organizational skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for the shift.

Responsibilities

• Audit wax gating and wax weld components against standards as they move through molding, cleaning, and assembly.
• Maintain inventory and track supplies and tooling for assembly and molding to ensure availability.
• Set up fixtures and carts at each operation and prepare component kits for Pattern Assembly and molding.
• Assist pattern molders as required and potentially assume molding lead/scheduling responsibilities.
• Identify and report safety issues and participate in safe work practices.
