Crucial Link in Louisville, KY is seeking a Wax Technician to join a fast-paced wax department. You will manage molten wax, build hollow replicas, and work with a range of dental tools and measuring devices to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must pass Pulmonary Function Test.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Ability to follow written and spoken work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Wax Pouring & Slushing to mold wax into hollow replicas.
• Wax Spruing: attach gates, runners, vents for proper flow.
• Mold Disassembly without distorting forms.
• Wax Chasing & Repair to fix imperfections.
• Quality Control to ensure uniform wax builds.
• Regular contact with molten wax, molds, and heat tools.
• Use measuring equipment like tape measures and calipers.
• Handle hand tools including dental tools and loop tools.
• Check parts for accuracy and meet client specs.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
