Job summary

Sleep Number Corporation seeks a Wave Planner to coordinate WMS workflow waves and align with operations, logistics, and planning teams to meet daily production targets and on-time shipping. You will review orders, develop daily work plans, and help implement continuous improvements to wave planning processes.

Requires 2–3 years in distribution or manufacturing and experience with WMS (Oracle preferred); associate degree is required, Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in distribution, fulfillment, or manufacturing.
• Experience with WMS systems (Oracle preferred).
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Lean or Six Sigma training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review backlog and plan WMS waves to ship orders within the customer delivery window.
• Create weekly truck plan with leadership and Transportation.
• Manage ordering and replenishments to meet schedules and quality.
• Communicate daily with Transportation, Materials Planning, Field Services and Operations.
• Resolve exceptions and support continuous improvement in wave planning.
• Support multiple sites and wave planning areas as needed.
