Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Warehouse Management System/Wave Planner in Hagerstown, Maryland to optimize warehouse operations and manage dock schedules. This role supports distribution across the US with a focus on safety and efficiency, offering weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of warehouse experience, forklift certification and working knowledge of WMS. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth and employee benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel); working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Forklift experience.
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility KPI which meet goals in safety, quality and maintenance.
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules.
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and load statuses.
• Work with Operations Supervisor to distribute workload, manage WMS on the floor.
• Coordinate with inventory and on-site personnel to resolve order issues.
• Interact with customers to communicate order changes and updates.
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
