Job summary

SKL'D is hiring a Wave Planner in Palmetto, GA. The role previews and selects groups of orders into waves to optimize shipping capacity, working with the Office Services Manager and Operations team to keep production flowing efficiently.

You will use WMS, Island Pacific, and SOUP, balancing workloads across manual and automated environments and coordinating with Merchandising and Customer Service to expedite or release orders. Strong Excel and analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 1–3 years of experience in distribution/wave planning or relevant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan waves of orders to optimize shipping capacity.
• Collaborate with WMS, Island Pacific, and SOUP systems.
• Balance workload between manual and automated environments.
• Coordinate with Merchandising and Customer Service to expediting or release orders.
• Meet with Operations staff to review staffing and equipment utilization.
• Ensure billing for automated distributions.
• Maintain alertness and assist associates.
