Job summary

DSG is seeking a Waterworks Outside Sales Account Manager for the Ames, IA area. You will promote DSG products and services to contractors and industrial accounts and ensure customer satisfaction to grow relationships.

This full-time role offers a base salary with commissions and accelerators, travel up to 125 miles, and opportunities for training, ESOP ownership, and long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Product and technical knowledge or field experience in water works products.
• Strong sales skills with proven territory development.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 125 miles to establish, manage, and maintain strong customer relationships and accounts with stellar service.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales to identify and implement initiatives for satisfaction and territory growth.
• Seek and develop new customer opportunities and accounts.
• Introduce, promote, and demonstrate new products and marketing programs.
• Correspond with Branch Manager and Purchasing Agents on product demand changes.
• Facilitate customer ordering processes, including handling orders and returns to improve the order flow.
