Job summary

DSG is seeking a Waterworks Outside Sales Account Manager for the Ames, IA area. You will actively promote DSG products to contractors and industrial accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong business relationships.

The role offers base salary with commissions and accelerators, with opportunities to grow through an ESOP-driven environment and extensive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; postsecondary degree preferred.
• Two years of college or technical school or 3–5 years field experience in water works applications.
• Strong sales skills with a proven track record in territory development.
• 3–5 years of sales experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Detail oriented with solid follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 125 miles to establish and grow customer relationships and accounts.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales to drive territory growth and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and pursue new customer opportunities and accounts.
• Introduce, promote, and demonstrate new products and programs.
• Coordinate with Branch Manager and Purchasing on product demands.
• Facilitate the customer ordering process and handle orders, returns, and inquiries.
