Job summary

Fab Har Corporation is seeking a Waterworks Estimator / Asst Project Manager in Princeton, TX to join our in-house team. The role focuses on estimating for waterworks projects, liaising with clients, and interpreting civil drawings. CAD knowledge and Tekla skills are a strong plus.

This on-site position requires at least 3 years in steel estimation, with attention to blueprints, Excel proficiency, and solid problem‑solving abilities. Relocation to Van Alstyne, TX is anticipated in winter 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as a steel estimator with metalwork experience in mechanical/waterworks.
• Experience estimating for waterworks wholesale supplier; CAD experience is required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with clients to define project requirements.
• Knowledge of waterworks estimating; analyze plans/specs; TEKLA software is a plus.
• Detailing experience is a plus; working knowledge of Excel; ability to read blueprints is required.
• In-house – No remote working.

Skills and Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years as a steel estimator - PLEASE ... DO NOT APPLY if you are NOT knowledgeable an Estimator with metalwork experience in mechanical/waterworks, commercial or miscellaneous steel, CAD experience is required. Primary activities estimating for waterworks wholesale supplier and Civil Drawings.

• Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives; Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Waterworks Estimating - Analyze construction plans, specifications, and other project documents to determine materials required. Use of TEKLA Software is a “plus”.
• Detailing Experience is a plus, Working knowledge of Excel, Ability to read blueprints (Required).
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• In House – No remote working.
• Fabhar Facility is currently in Princeton, TX which will be moving to Van Alstyne, TX in winter of 2026.
