Job summary

Fabhar is seeking an experienced Steel Estimator to join their team in Princeton, Texas. The role requires a minimum of 4 years in steel estimation and a strong background in Structural Steel, as well as proficiency in TEKLA software to analyze construction plans and specifications.

Candidates must have strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interpret steel drawings. Benefits include health insurance, a profit bonus, and 401k with employer contributions.

Job Details:

• A minimum of 4 years as a steel estimator - PLEASE ... DO NOT APPLY if you are NOT knowledgeable in Structural Steel as well as miscellaneous Steel. Must know how to read / interpret Structural Steel Drawings and Civil Drawings.
• Knowledge of Waterworks Estimating - Analyze construction plans, specifications, and other project documents to determine materials required using TEKLA software.
• Welding Background is a “PLUS”.
• Knowledge of manufacture and erection of steel members (columns, beams, braces, trusses, stairs, handrails, joists, metal decking, etc.) and non-building structures.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• In House – No remote working.
• TEKLA Software knowledge is a Big Plus.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Must Pass a Drug Test, We Provide a Drug-Free Work Environment.
