The City of Shoreview, MN is seeking a Waterslide Attendant for the Shoreview Community Center. This year-round, part-time role focuses on keeping guests safe while ensuring a fun experience at the waterslide, which includes entry control, supervision, and timely reporting of any safety concerns.
Responsibilities include assisting with trainings, completing maintenance tasks, and working a variety of evening and weekend hours. Certification training is provided, and eligibility starts at age 16.

The Shoreview Community Center is a fast-paced environment with over 500,000 visitors to our facility each year. Our 3-story waterslide is a main attraction in our waterpark as it twists and turns its way outside the building, then back inside, and ending with a watery splash! Guests can choose light and sound options to enhance their experience. This position is responsible for ensuring the safety of our guests while making sure fun is had by all.
In addition, we have pool rentals and special events that need staffing. Staff must attend two hours of in-service training each month and other meetings as posted.
NOTE: Your training, materials, BLS CPR/AED, Standard First Aid, supplemental oxygen, and waterslide dispatch certification are FREE.
Waterslide attendant certification training is delivered through a combination of on-line and in-person training. Employees are compensated at a rate of $11.50 per hour for their waterslide attendant certification training.
Up to $20/hour for weekend shifts and special events.
