Job summary

Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing water mains, managing traffic during breaks, maintaining hydrants, and coordinating with crew supervisors to ensure safety and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; no prior experience required.
• 6 months of experience in construction or maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of water/wastewater safety and standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders safely and on time under supervision.
• Inspect and repair water mains and hydrants; manage traffic during breaks.
• Assist in road/sidewalk maintenance and equipment setup.
• Coordinate with crew supervisors to determine daily duties.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure tools are organized.
