Job summary

Crown Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking an experienced Waterproofing Superintendent to lead commercial waterproofing projects throughout the Tampa Bay area. The role is full-time and exempt, offering $70,000–$95,000 per year based on experience.

As a field leader, you will oversee daily operations, supervise crews and subcontractors, and ensure work meets specifications, safety standards, and budgets. The position requires strong knowledge of waterproofing systems and the ability to read

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction and waterproofing experience.
• Experience supervising waterproofing crews or commercial projects.
• Knowledge of membranes, coatings, sealants, caulking, and traffic coatings.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
• OSHA 30 or ability to complete within 90 days.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on waterproofing projects.
• Lead crews, laborers, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
• Review plans, specs, drawings, and scopes of work.
• Ensure installations meet manufacturer requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor labor, materials, production, and job progress to stay on budget.
• Conduct jobsite inspections and address issues before they impact schedule.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, customers, suppliers, subcontractors and other trades.
• Troubleshoot field conditions, installation issues, leaks, and design discrepancies.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, photos, and project docs.

Waterproofing Superintendent – Tampa Bay, FL

Crown Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking an experienced Waterproofing Superintendent to lead commercial waterproofing projects throughout the Tampa Bay area.

This is a field leadership position for someone who understands waterproofing systems, can effectively manage crews and subcontractors, and knows how to keep projects moving safely, on schedule, and within budget.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of construction and/or waterproofing experience preferred.
• Previous experience supervising waterproofing crews or commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial waterproofing systems, includingmembranes, coatings, sealants, caulking, traffic coatings, and related applications.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
• Strong leadership and crew-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and construction safety requirements.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to complete within the first 90 days.
• Valid Florida driver's license and acceptable driving record.
