Job summary

Crown Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking an experienced Waterproofing Superintendent to lead field operations across the Tampa Bay area. You will supervise crews, manage subcontractors, and coordinate schedules to deliver quality waterproofing projects on time and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years in construction/waterproofing, knowledge of membranes, coatings, sealants, and related applications, and a valid Florida driver’s license. OSHA compliance and safety leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction and/or waterproofing experience preferred.
• Experience supervising waterproofing crews or commercial construction projects.
• Knowledge of commercial waterproofing systems including membranes, coatings, sealants, caulking, traffic coatings.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
• Strong leadership and crew-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and construction safety requirements.
• OSHA 30 or ability to complete within the first 90 days.
• Valid Florida driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct jobsite inspections and address issues before they impact schedule or quality.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Troubleshoot field conditions, installation issues, leaks, and design discrepancies.
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, photos, and project documentation.
