Job summary

Crown Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking an experienced Waterproofing Superintendent to lead commercial waterproofing projects across the Tampa Bay area. This field leadership role requires knowledge of waterproofing systems, ability to manage crews and subcontractors, and to keep projects on schedule and within budget while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction and/or waterproofing experience preferred.
• Experience supervising waterproofing crews or commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial waterproofing systems, including membranes, coatings, sealants, caulking, traffic coatings.

• Lead and supervise waterproofing crews, laborers, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and project schedules.
• Review plans, specifications, drawings, and scopes of work.
• Ensure installations meet manufacturer requirements, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor labor, materials, production, and job progress to help keep projects on budget.
• Conduct jobsite inspections and address issues before they impact schedule or quality.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Troubleshoot field conditions, installation issues, leaks, and design discrepancies.
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, photos, and project documentation.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

5+ years of construction and/or waterproofing experience preferred.

Previous experience supervising waterproofing crews or commercial construction projects.

Strong knowledge of commercial waterproofing systems, includingmembranes, coatings, sealants, caulking, traffic coatings, and related applications.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and blueprints.

Strong leadership and crew-management skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Working knowledge of OSHA and construction safety requirements.

OSHA 30 or ability to complete within the first 90 days.

Valid Florida driver's license and acceptable driving record.
