Tiello is seeking experienced Waterproofing Installers to join a casino project crew in the Columbus, OH area. The role focuses on hands-on installation of waterproofing systems, sealants, coatings, and air/vapor barriers on fast-paced sites.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work outdoors on large commercial projects. Offering competitive hourly pay and overtime, the position requires travel between nearby job sites and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of commercial waterproofing, caulking, or coatings experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow drawings/manufacturer details
• Comfortable working outdoors in construction environments
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work at heights if needed

Responsibilities

• Install waterproofing systems including membranes, hot- or cold-applied systems
• Apply caulking, sealants, expansion joints, and traffic coatings
• Assist with prep work: cleaning substrates, priming surfaces, masking, layout
• Interpret plans and specs to ensure proper installation
• Coordinate with foremen to maintain schedule and quality
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and site rules
• Communicate progress and material needs to supervisors
• Support punch lists and QA/QC activities

Job Title: Waterproofing Installer

Location: Columbus, OH (Open to Cincinnati, OH Lexington, KY, Louisville, KY, and Indianapolis, IN)

Compensation: $25–$30/hr (DOE) + Overtime

Company Overview:

Tiello is partnered with a leading commercial waterproofing and restoration contractor in the Mid-Atlantic region. This contractor specializes in waterproofing, below-grade systems, air/vapor barriers, coatings, sealants, and façade restoration across commercial, industrial, and large-scale entertainment facilities.

Role Summary:

We are seeking experienced Waterproofing Installers to join the crew on an active casino project. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience installing below‑grade waterproofing systems, sealants, coatings, and air/vapor barriers. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work on fast‑paced, high‑visibility construction sites.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install a variety of waterproofing systems, including membranes, hot- and cold‑applied systems, sheet goods, and fluid‑applied products
• Apply caulking, sealants, expansion joints, and traffic coatings
• Assist with prep work: cleaning substrates, priming surfaces, masking, and layout
• Read plans, details, and manufacturer specifications to ensure proper installation
• Work alongside foremen and superintendents to maintain schedule and quality standards
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely (sprayers, rollers, torches, etc.)
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all OSHA standards and site‑specific safety protocols
• Communicate job progress, potential issues, and material needs to supervisors
• Support punch list and QA/QC activities as required

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 1–3+ years of commercial waterproofing, caulking, or coatings experience preferred
• Experience with below-grade systems, air/vapor barriers, elastomeric coatings, or sealants
• Ability to read and follow drawings and manufacturer details
• Comfortable working outdoors in construction environments
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work at heights if needed
• Reliable transportation to the Norfolk jobsite
• Willingness to pass background/drug screening
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Must be open to traveling up to 1.5 hours between job sites
